On completely nonmeasurable unions
نویسنده
چکیده
Assume that there is no quasi-measurable cardinal not greater than 2. We show that for a c.c.c. σ-ideal I with a Borel base of subsets of an uncountable Polish space, if A is a point-finite family of subsets from I then there is a subfamily of A whose union is completely nonmeasurable i.e. its intersection with every nonsmall Borel set does not belong to the σ-field generated by Borel sets and the ideal I. This result is a generalization of Four Poles Theorem (see [1]) and result from [3].

Remarks on nonmeasurable unions of big point families
We show that under some conditions on a family A ⊂ I there exists a subfamily A0 ⊂ A such that ⋃ A0 is nonmeasurable with respect to a fixed ideal I with Borel base of a fixed uncountable Polish space. Our result applies to the classical ideal of null subsets of the real line and to the ideal of first category subsets of the real line.
متن کاملTrade :union:s, trade :union: movement, trade :union:s, political sphere of Iran
The research, which is written using the approach of historical sociology and descriptive and analytical methods, examines the interactions of trade unions after the Islamic Revolution. The examinations show that the first trade unions or trade unions emerged in England in the early eighteenth century. In Iran, too, the tendency towards trade unions is related to the years before the Constituti...
متن کاملMeasurability Properties of Sets of Vitali's Type
Assume a group G acts on a set. Given a subgroup H of G , by an //-selector we mean a selector of the set of all orbits of H . We investigate measurability properties of //-selectors with respect to G-invariant measures. Let us fix a set A and a group G acting on it. By p we denote a G-invariant countably additive measure on A . The most common example of such a situation is an invariant measur...
متن کاملRegular probability comparisons imply the Banach-Tarski Paradox
Consider the regularity thesis that each possible event has non-zero probability. Hájek challenges this in two ways: (a) there can be nonmeasurable events that have no probability at all and (b) on a large enough sample space, some probabilities will have to be zero. But arguments for the existence of nonmeasurable events depend on the Axiom of Choice (AC). We shall show that the existence of a...
متن کاملAxiomatic theory of divergent series and cohomological equations
A general theory of summation of divergent series based on the HardyKolmogorov axioms is developed. A class of functional series is investigated by means of ergodic theory. The results are formulated in terms of solvability of some cohomological equations, all solutions to which are nonmeasurable. In particular, this realizes a construction of a nonmeasurable function as first conjectured by Ko...
